Locations for our expanding network are chosen in accordance with government, industry and Chevron Malaysia Limited’s standards at much lower costs under the esteemed Caltex brand.
Our team of consultants and engineers then work with the landowners to conduct feasibility studies, draw up plans, secure permits and licenses, appoint contractors and supervise the construction. After construction, the team will plan and set up the retail stores, lubricant bays, car wash centers and the grand openings.
RETAIL PARTNERSHIPS
Our retailers operate petrol stations, convenience stores, lubricant bays and car wash centers. Each retailer follows the Pen Petroleum Sdn Bhd experience of giving customers excellent, friendly and hassle-free service.
A team of business consultants advises them on product inventory and management. Our retail stores carry high quality premium Caltex Techron petrol and diesel, Havoline lubricants and other automotive supplies.
Annual business planning by our retailers ensures value and profit management while organizing promotions and activities for customers.
We offer accounting modules for station operations to our retailers with on the job training at our company managed flagship Taman Cempaka Caltex service station and Xpress Point convenience store, supported by our in-house appointed consultant.
Our associate company, HYL Marketing Sdn Bhd, is the owner of Xpress Point convenience stores. This allows our retail partners to gain access into their experience, product supply, merchandising, promotions and store management methodologies including managing relationship with suppliers and vendors.
We own and manage the “Manual Plus” car wash brand. The module is designed to give our customers an offering beyond the usual systematic and professional manual car wash. Customers will be assured of quality liquid soap especially designed for cars, provided with safety checks on lights and signals, and have their tyres checked and inflated just after the wash. That is the “Plus” of our car wash at no extra charge.
An exciting area of development is our co-branding programme for selected outlets with fast food brands. The first Burger King store has been developed for our flagship petrol station, and we are now also working with them as well as others to explore co-branding opportunities for Pen Petroleum Sdn Bhd network.
